The foreign students who come to study at UC, they have to arrive at the country with visa of resident student.

The student with his or her acceptance letter must go to the Chilean consulate in his or her country and ask for this document.

Health Care
Universidad Católica de Chile offers complete health service, including all medical specialties, dental attention, psychological counseling, and vocational orientation for the exclusive use of its students. Students must have their own health insurance and/or include the cost of the health services.

Housing
Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile does not own housing facilities, so we are not in a position to arrange housing for our international students. Note that our institution cannot be held responsible for the operation of the services listed below since they work independently from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, consequently no guarantees of the conditions or suitability of the accommodation can be given. Hostelling International Santiago

This is a custom-built facility in a convenient location, near to all visitor attractions and is and excellent place for a temporary accommodation. The hostel is part of the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF) and you can even book online. The hostel has 120 beds in a four-bed and six-bed rooms with locking closets, common areas are big, spacious and include a pleasant cafeteria, TV/video room and yard with a BBQ area, besides library, games and more.
