Ramón Núñez Villarroel (1941)


He came from Melipilla to the Barros Arana School. From there, he went to study drama at the UC. After that, he dedicated his life to the stage. He worked for more than 48 years in the Teatro de Ensayo of the Universidad Católica (TEUC), and he was recognized for his TV show character "Don Goyo". Having participated in more than 170 plays, he received the Premio Nacional de Artes de la Representación (National Award for Dramatic Arts) in 2009. He has directed plays such as La viuda de Apablaza; Betrayal by Harold Pinter and After the Fall by Arthur Miller. He has also starred very successful presentations of La pérgola de las flores, The Bourgeois Gentleman by Moliere, King Lear, Waiting for Godot, The Dresser and Ardiente Paciencia, among other plays.
