Sergio Villalobos Rivera (1930- )


In 1957, he graduated as a Teacher of History, Geography and Civic Education from Universidad de Chile. In 1970, he became Associate professor at Universidad Católica de Chile. He pursued studies in the University of Cambridge and was a visiting professor of the University of California. Also, he was director of Bibliotecas, Archivos y Museos (Libraries, Archives and Museums), in Chile. In 1992, he was awarded the Premio Nacional de la Historia (National Awards for History). He is the author of many books about the history of Chile.
