In 2026, the International Seminar on Urban Form, titled “Intelligences and Realities”, will be held in Santiago, Chile, at the Lo Contador campus of the Pontificia Universidad Católica. It will serve as a meeting point highlighting the dynamic interplay between abstract thinking and the tangible reality of urban morphology.
Under the banner of “Intelligence” it underscores the importance of transdisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity, integrating both local and global knowledge for a comprehensive understanding. “Realities”, instead, seeks to showcase the diverse realities of urban contexts, acknowledging the multitude of factors influencing urban form, from social and cultural to economic and political aspects.
This conference will provide a comprehensive space to explore the complexity of urban morphology from various perspectives, integrating theory and practice to address contemporary challenges in a collaboratively and reflectively manner.
